A Historical Perspective of Ayuele Kingdom represents a modest attempt to reconstruct some aspects of the past of a people that inhabit the Southern part of Etsako West Local Government Area of Edo State. These are the Ayueles. They constitute the Ayuele Kingdom of today in Edo North Senatorial District in Edo State, Nigeria. The events that shaped the evolution of this kingdom from its beginnings to the present are, in the understanding of this author, very significant, and harbour a veritable platform for the understanding of the contemporary situation in Agbede, nay Ayuele Kingdom.
