This volume captures my thoughts and experiences about my mother but no single book can possibly celebrate motherhood in the entirety of what it entails. Hence, in my quest to celebrate my mother and mothers in general, I asked ten friends to join me by sharing invaluable and memorable stories about their mothers. Each chapter in this volume ends with a short motherhood story from my friends as a way of further illustrating the attributes of motherhood.

To the men reading this book, I hope that you will appreciate to a greater degree, the place of our mothers and every other woman in our lives. To the womenfolk, I pray that this book will help you realise your worth and how much you are appreciated.

It is my hope that everyone will find this volume a great read and glean timeless lessons through its pages.

Son of My Mother

In this book, you get acquainted with the one I call Dad. Chapter One introduces you to his fatherhood while Chapter Two offers you a slight insight into his lifestyle of faith. Chapter Three opens you up to how he personifies humility. His hospitable spirit is etched in Chapter Four. And in Chapter Five, you encounter the value of his good name. What's a man without a loveable spirit? This essence that defines him is captured in the sixth chapter. And a loveable man is deserving of a virtuous wife. Hence, Chapter Seven reveals his wife, my mum, to you. Afterall,we are all human. Thus you have a feel of my father's humanity or human nature in the eight chapter. For the sake of those who don't know me personally, my father is a man of the robe, a minister of the gospel who served in the Methodist Church ministry. So in the ninth chapter, a very instructive and unforgettable experience is unveiled to the reader to afford him or her invaluable lessons of life and living. Finally, in the tenth chapter, you come in contact with his son and his word.

My hope is that this volume would find resonance with different aspects of the reader's life, giving off priceless lessons in the process.

Son of My Father

 Fifty years of friendship love, fidelity and commitment to each other. That is the record my parents have set. And, at a time when the marriage institution has been desecrated on different fronts, keeping it perfectly real is a spectacular feat. Bear with me if I appear not to be able to contain myself while I take you through the fantastic 50-year life journey of these awesome parents of mine.
It is my hope that you would find this an interesting read, scooping lessons and experiences that guarantee a golden life of love.
