The General that is missing is Stephen Brail, the head of the Nigerian Military Intelligence Unit. As at the time of his disappearance, he has with him a bag containing a huge amount of money, a controversial compact disc that can change the political setting of the country, and a copy of the military intelligence report – a document containing top military secrets that must never get to the enemy’s camp. So the moment the news of his disappearance breaks, over one thousand armed men are hurriedly dispatched for a desperate search for him. But most of them are not really looking for Brail. The Fulani men, who had him in their possession, are after the money in his bag. The Nigerian Army are after the intelligence report while James Sydney, an ex-commando, hired by a top politician, is after the compact disc. The only people looking for Brail are the States Security Service agents, who have orders from Aso Villa, for the president is convince Brail knows a secret he must never die with.

The Missing General

A ransom of six hundred thousand pounds has been paid for the release of the Vice President’s daughter. The police believe the money has been secretly transferred to Sandra Luicers, a member of the kidnapping mob, but unknown to them, the money has been mistakenly delivered to Sandra Lucas, a young beautiful lady who coincidentally bears a closely related identity with Luicers.
With the police after Miss Luicers, Miss Lucas thinks nobody knows she has the money, but some people do. Some people who include Benzon May, an old courier agent that will not keep his mouth shut, Henry Cole, a seasoned journalist who is looking for a big story, Harry Whyte, a greedy blackmailer that wants a fat share, James Sydney, an ex-commando that is ready to double-cross any other person, Floyd Jefferson, an angry police officer that is working without authority and Jim Jackson, a professional killer.
